🇩🇪 Andreas Lindlahr arbeitet seit seiner Jugend als Fotograf in der Werbung und Public Relations. Parallel dazu entwickelte sich über viele Jahre eine zweite berufliche Laufbahn als Regatta- und Langstreckensegler – jedoch nie losgelöst von seiner eigentlichen Arbeit, sondern stets in enger Verbindung mit ihr.

Seine fotografische und journalistische Tätigkeit konzentrierte sich früh auf Projekte, bei denen sich Fotografie, Segelei und technisches Verständnis verbinden: Fachzeitschriftenbeiträge, Reportagen, Kampagnen für Werbeagenturen sowie Film- und Fotoproduktionen für Werften und Ausrüster.

Die Teilnahme an hochkarätigen Transatlantik- und Offshore-Regatten – sowohl solo als auch mit Crew – führte zu einer besonderen Nähe zur französischen Performance-Yachtszene. Daraus entstanden langfristige berufliche Beziehungen und weiterführende Engagements, insbesondere in den Bereichen Coaching, Beratung sowie Rigging- und Segel-Setup auf konzeptioneller Ebene.

🇬🇧 Andreas Lindlahr has worked as a professional photographer in advertising and public relations since his youth. Alongside this, he gradually built a second professional career as a regatta and long-distance sailor – never separate from his photographic work, but closely intertwined with it.

From an early stage, his focus lay on projects combining photography, sailing, and technical understanding: specialist magazine features, editorial reports, agency campaigns, as well as film and photography productions for boatyards and marine brands.

Participation in high-profile transatlantic and offshore races – both solo and fully crewed – led to a close connection with the French performance yacht scene. This involvement evolved into long-term professional collaborations and further engagements, particularly in coaching, consultancy, and conceptual rigging and sail setup.
